Fruit Porridge

This porridge is a great way to start your Fastday.


  • 30g jumbo porridge oats
  • 250ml skimmed milk
  • 1 pear, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • a grating of nutmeg


Simmer the milk, oats, pear, cinnamon and nutmeg. Take the porridge off the heat when it is is suitably thick.
